In 1944, Ralph Estes co-founded Bucklin Tractor and Implement Company in southwest Kansas. In 1960, his son, Maynard, continued the family legacy and became the company president. In turn, his children, Bud, Mike, Letty, and Kelly, along with great-grandson Jeremie and grandson Ron Yancey became components of BTI. After Bud's passing in February 2021, Mike (Senior Vice President), Letty (Senior Vice President), and Kelly (President & Chairman of the Board), along with Jeremie (CEO) are now responsible for the corporate side of BTI, as well as the daily operations of six dealerships in Bucklin, Great Bend, Greensburg, Hoxie, Ness City, and Pratt. Kelly Estes is currently President & Chairman of the Board after serving as CEO since August 1987.
